How to Use SnapAnswer

AI answers beside your Google search results — with sources you can verify.

Getting started (30 seconds)

Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. No account needed to try it.
Search Google as you normally do (make sure you're on the All tab, web results).
SnapAnswer appears on the right side and automatically summarizes the top results — each claim marked with [1] [2] that links to the original page.
Click any source number to open the page it came from, or scroll the Sources list at the bottom.

What each button does

↻ Regenerate — ask again for a fresh summary of the same search.
🔍 Deep mode (Pro) — reads the top pages in full, not just snippets, and produces a longer, evidence-traced analysis.
× — hide the panel. A small ⚡ chip at the top-right brings it back.
? — reopen the quick-start tips inside the panel.

Free plan vs Pro

Free: 5 summaries per day, no account required. The counter resets at midnight UTC.
Pro ($5/month or $49/year): unlimited summaries, unlimited Deep mode, answer history across devices, and priority access to new features.

Sign in (optional but recommended)

Click the extension icon → enter your email → we send a one-click magic link (no password). Signing in keeps your Pro status and history on every device. Anonymous free usage still works without an account.

Frequently asked questions

The panel says "No search results detected"

SnapAnswer reads standard Google web results. Switch to the All tab (not Images/Videos/Maps), or scroll down slightly so results finish loading — the panel picks them up automatically. If you use a heavily customized Google layout, try a normal search URL like google.com/search?q=....

Can't reach the service / answers stopped

Press ↻ Regenerate. Free uses are only counted for successful answers, so a failed attempt doesn't consume your daily quota. If it persists, check your internet connection or email [email protected].

I paid but I'm still on Free

Pro unlocks right after checkout via our payment provider. Make sure you completed checkout on the same email you're signed in with in the extension, then reopen the extension popup. Still on Free? Email [email protected] with your receipt and we'll fix it within one business day.

How do I cancel?

Email [email protected] or manage the subscription from your payment receipt page. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy for what is refundable.

Does it collect my data?

To answer, we send your query and the visible result snippets to our LLM provider — nothing else, no ads, no profiling. Full details in the Privacy Policy.

Does it work on Bing / other search engines?

Currently Google web search only. Bing and DuckDuckGo support is on the roadmap.
